Marketing for law firms that brings in the matters you want.
Not every enquiry is worth having. A family law practice doesn't want conveyancing calls, and a commercial firm doesn't want to spend its intake hour on matters it'll decline. We build search visibility around the work you actually want to take.
Where legal clients come from now
Referrals still matter and always will. But the first move after a referral is a search, for the firm's name, then for reviews, then for the two competitors that appear alongside them. If you're invisible or your reviews are thin, the referral leaks.
And an increasing share of matters start cold: someone searching “family lawyer Geelong” or “do I need a lawyer for a will” with no referral at all. Those searches go to whoever shows up.
A Reddit thread currently outranks every agency for this search in Australia. When a forum post beats the commercial pages, those pages are weak.
Intake, not marketing. Response time, after-hours handling and call tracking usually pay for themselves before the SEO does.
What we build
Six moves, ordered by what usually costs firms the most matters.
The compliance problem most agencies ignore
Australian law firms advertise under the Legal Profession Uniform Law and the Australian Solicitors' Conduct Rules, Rule 36 requires advertising that isn't false, misleading or deceptive. Several states also restrict personal injury advertising specifically, and those restrictions differ between jurisdictions.
Most marketing agencies have never read a line of it. They'll write “Australia's best injury lawyers, guaranteed compensation” and hand you the compliance risk along with the invoice.
We write within those rules from the first draft. It's slower, and it converts better, because credible beats loud in a category where clients are already nervous.
This is general awareness, not legal advice. Your firm remains responsible for its own compliance, and we recommend review by a practising solicitor before anything is published.

Personal injury isn't on this list. State-based advertising restrictions make it a specialist compliance exercise, talk to us before assuming we can help there.
Questions
How much should a law firm spend on marketing?
Most Australian firms we work with invest between A$2,000 and A$8,000 a month depending on practice area and city. Legal keywords are expensive, so if Google Ads is part of the mix, budget accordingly.
We will be specific during the audit rather than quoting a range and hoping.
How long until we see enquiries?
Google Ads: days. SEO: three to six months for local practice-area terms, longer in Melbourne or Sydney.
Can you guarantee results?
No. And under Rule 36 you'd have your own problem if we advertised your services that way. What we commit to is transparent reporting and no lock-in contract.
Do you understand legal advertising rules?
We build to them and we will flag anything that looks risky. We're a marketing agency, not your legal adviser, and final compliance sign-off stays with your firm.
We only want commercial work, not consumer matters. Can you target that?
Yes. That's largely a keyword and page-structure decision, and it's one of the more effective things we can do for a firm.
Want us to find what's capping you, before you ever pay us a dollar?
Three answers from you. Twenty-four hours from us. Your site marked up screenshot by screenshot, the brands beating you benchmarked, and a fix-first plan. No pitch inside.
See which matters you could be winning.
Free audit, about 30 minutes. You keep the findings whether or not we work together.
