The business

Themed kids’ party packs, bundle party bags, decor and favours, with a $30 minimum order. A family business selling small baskets in a category full of marketplaces and discount warehouses, where every ad dollar has to find an order on the spot.

What we run

A family business whose Meta ads we took over in February 2026. The account was rebuilt around the party packs parents actually search for, and growth came in steps as the winning ads got the budget.

What we did, in order.

01 · Ads built around what sells

The account was rebuilt around the bundle party packs and the themes parents actually search for, so every ad landed on a product that could take a $30 to $150 order on the spot.

02 · Budget followed the numbers

Growth came in steps, not a splash: February to April at about $6,500 a month while the ads were tested, then May onward at about $15,000 once the winners had the budget.

03 · Meta as a second door, not the only one

Facebook and Instagram bring the first visit; a good share of buyers come back through Google or type the store name. The ads lift every channel, which is the point of running them properly.

Referrer figures are Shopify’s last click attribution, which credits Facebook and Instagram only when the order came straight from the ad, so the Meta figure is a floor, not a ceiling. Figures are Koi Koi Inbox’s, read from their Shopify admin on 10 September 2026 with their permission, and are not a promise about any other business.

Same pattern, smaller basket.

A riding jacket and a party bag are sold the same way. Know which ad produced which order, make the page worth the click, then give the winners the budget. Koi Koi got there in seven months on a family business’s ad spend, not a corporate one.

Does this work for a service business?

Yes, with one change: the sale is a booked job instead of an order. We track every enquiry to the job it became, fix the page that turns a click into a booking, and only then put more budget behind what works.

That is the whole method, in the same order, whether you sell party bags, riding jackets or a dental check-up. Our service practice runs it on Google Ads, the map pack and the pages people land on.

A store we run end to end: product pages and tracking first, then Google and Meta run against cost per order, then creative written for riders. The showroom sells through Shopify too, so this is the whole business.
