Ghazali Fragrances: selling scent to people who cannot smell it.

Oil perfumes, attars and sprays, sold online to Australians. We run the growth work end to end: the store, the brand, the paid channels and the creative that has to do the job a tester strip normally does.

The business and the brief.

Ghazali Fragrances is an Australian online fragrance store: oil perfumes and attars, spray perfumes and a clearance range, with a keep it if you like it, return it if you don’t promise on the homepage and reviews from its own customers.

Fragrance is bought on smell, and a website cannot offer one. The store has to make a buyer confident enough to choose a scent they have never tried, and the ads have to find people who already buy oil perfumes and attars, not everyone who likes nice things.

What we run

Full growth for an online fragrance store: the store, the brand, the paid channels and the creative.

What we did, in order.

01 · The store

Merchandising, product pages and offers on the store the brand sells through, run as the main shop window rather than a catalogue.

02 · The brand

One look and one voice across the store, the ads and social, so a buyer who sees an ad recognises the store the moment they land.

03 · The paid channels

Campaigns aimed at people who already buy oil perfumes and attars, judged on orders rather than clicks.

04 · The creative

Product visuals and short videos that do what a tester strip does in a shop: make a buyer confident enough to choose a scent unseen.

Running a store like this one?Ten minutes on the phone, then the findings in writing. Free, and yours to keep.

Where it stands.

The store is live with its oil perfume, spray and clearance ranges, customer reviews on the homepage and the returns promise up front, where a first time buyer looks for it.

The numbers

We have not published Ghazali Fragrances’s figures. A number goes on this site only when we can show it from the client’s own admin, with their permission and the dates beside it. These two are published that way:
